Day to Night with Velvet

Yet another wardrobe staple that I just adore. The little white dress can be transformed in so many ways. From layering with bolder pieces or simply worn for a casual night - this is one of many pieces that every woman truly needs. 

Here, you can see that I am wearing my little vintage, velvet holiday number under a pinkish peach blazer - turning it into a daytime appropriate work ensemble. It is so convenient when I need to hop from meeting to meeting and then to happy hour with my friends. 

I wanted to keep it simple with my shoes in order to keep the focus on my outfit but I paired this look with my fringe bag that absolutely goes with EVERYTHING. It instantly perks up any outfit I am wearing and adds that trendy edge that I need.

Honestly, I am in love with the pink trend that is coming back this season and cannot wait to style them in my own way. Reminds me of Mean Girls and everyone loves that movie right?
